ORLANDO, Fla. – The Washington State University men’s golf team finished 15th after the third and final round of the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational, Tuesday, at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club.
The Cougars shot their best round Tuesday, with a score of 297 (+9) in the third round for a total score of 916 (+52). No. 1 Illinois won the tournament with a three-round score of 865 (+1), while Pac-12 competitors Arizona State (+5, 869) and California (+14, 878) finished second and third, respectively.
“We played a lot better golf in similar conditions today,” WSU Head Coach Garrett Clegg said.
