PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University women’s golf teamwon the WSU Cougar Cup with a total score of 866 (-3) at Palouse Ridge Golf Club, Tuesday, in a field of 12 teams. This marks the third consecutive year the Cougars have taken the top spot in the event, with this year’s three-round total being a team-best in Cougar Cup play.
Junior Cherokee Kim won her first collegiate tournament after a third round 73 (+1) brought her overall score to 211 (-5). Kim’s previous best finish was at last season’s Cowgirl Classic, at Maricopa, Ariz.
