WOLCOTT, Colo. - The Washington State women's golf team posted their second consecutive top-five team finish, as the Cougars round out the 2022 GOLFWEEK Red Sky Classic in a tie for fifth with a team score of 878 (+14).
WSU finished Wednesday's final round by carding 5-over; 293 and concluded the three-day tournament in a three-way tie with Xavier and New Mexico State. It is WSU's second-straight top-five finish to open the season, as the Cougars finished tied for fourth at last week's season-opening tournament at the 2022 Badger Invitational.
"A top-five finish is solid for the team," said WSU Women's Golf Head Coach Sofie Aagaard.
