WOLCOTT, Colo. – The Washington State women's golf team moved up three spots on the team leaderboard at the 2021 Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Tuesday, Sept. 27, before play was suspended late in the second round due to darkness.
WSU opened the second round in a three-way tie for eighth place but carded two-over par as a team in the round to end the day in fifth place on the team leaderboard. The Cougars battled rough elements at the Red Sky Golf Club throughout the day, as teams had to endure a weather delay midway through the second round.
