THIS WEEK: The Washington State women’s golf team will participate in its second-straight tournament in the state of Arizona as it heads to Maricopa, Ariz., to compete at the Cowgirl Classic, hosted by Wyoming, Monday through Tuesday, April 4-5.
THE TOURNAMENT: Two rounds will be played Monday at the par-72, 6,231-yard Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club, signaled by a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. MT…the third and final round will be played Tuesday, with tee times yet to be determined.
THE FIELD: Joining WSU and tournament-host Wyoming in the 19-team field will be Boise State, Eastern Washington, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, Nevada (last year’s champion), Northern Arizona, Portland State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, Seattle, Southern Utah, UC-Riverside, UTEP, Utah Valley, and Weber State.
