SANTA FE, CALIF. – The Washington State women's golf team sits in a tie for sixth place on the team leaderboard after 36 holes of play at the Lamkin Invitational, as the Cougars carded 618 (+42) over the tournament's first two rounds at the Farms Golf Course on Monday, Feb. 8.
Washington State enters tomorrow tied with New Mexico for sixth. The Cougars, who were competing in a tournament for the first time in 335 days, opened Lamkin Invitational by carding 315 (+27). WSU improved its team score by 12 strokes in the second round, as they shot 303 (+15).
