PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's basketball team added more international flair to its backcourt on Tuesday, April 27, as head coach Kamie Ethridge announced the signing of Australian guard Tayah Burrows.
Burrows comes to the Palouse after playing last season for the Perth Lynx in the National Basketball League, Australia's top women's professional basketball league. The highly-touted guard from Perth, Western Australia played for her hometown WNBL team in 2019 and 2020. Burrows was one of the youngest players in the WNBL last season.
The 5-9 guard was named the 2020 Perth Lynx Youth Player of the Year after shooting 36.
