PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's basketball team is set to head across the Atlantic Ocean and spent two weeks abroad for a European tour through Croatia and Greece. The Cougars will depart on August 5 and return to the United States on August 15.
The Cougars will spend multiple days in Spilt, Croatia and Dubrovnik, Croatia before ending the trip in Athens, Greece. The NCAA permits institutions to participate in a foreign tour once every four years. The last Cougar women's basketball foreign tour came before the start of the 2013-14 season.
The trip will include various sightseeing opportunities and city tours, which include landmark visits to Krka National Park, Elaphiti Islands, Acropolis, Plaka, and a one-island tour of Aegina.
