PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State women's basketball held its first practice of the 2015-16 season Sunday at the Cougar Basketball Practice facility.
Head coach June Daugherty, entering her ninth season with the Cougars, talked on camera about the first day of practice. Washington State, coming of its second straight WNIT appearance, welcomes in three freshmen and returns three starters from last season led by seniors Dawnyelle Awa and Mariah Cooks along with sophomore center Lou Brown.
Daugherty and Cooks both spoke after the first practice.
