Luke Falk leads the nation in passing and Washington State’s run game has flourished this season thanks to an offensive line that has meshed and stepped up in recent weeks.
Earlier this season, an annoyed Mike Leach publicly called out the Washington State offensive line and challenged them to toughen up or find another hobby – “like Scrabble, maybe.”
That memorable Leachism came on the heels of the Cougs’ loss to Cal on Oct. 3 when quarterback Luke Falk was sacked seven times.
Fast forward a month, and the Cougars’ offensive line has quietly upped its level of play to get back into Leach’s good graces and help Falk and the offense put together a season to remember.
