With the Mad Men finale on Sunday ending the so-called "Golden Age" of modern television, I thought it would interesting to discuss what is the modern day "Golden Age" for WSU athletics. What era gave us the greatest Cougar moments?
Was it the late 1970s and early 1980s (George Raveling and the Holiday Bowl)? Or the late 1990s and early 2000s? Some would say two Rose Bowls trump the awfulness of the Paul Graham/Steve Farrington era.
Personally, I would go with the late '80s/early '90s. You had John Olerud and Aaron Sele killing it for Cougar baseball.
