Robert Franks earned another postseason accolade Thursday, being named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 20 First Team.
The Washington State forward earned the award for the first time in his career and he becomes the first Cougars to snag it since Josh Hawkinson was selected to the second team in 2017.
A WSU player hasn’t been named to the first team since Brock Motum in 2012. Before that, Klay Thompson (2010 and 2011), Derrick Low (2008), Kyle Weaver (2007 and 2008), Isaac Fontaine (1996 and 1997), Mark Hendrickson (1996), Terrence Lewis (1992) and Brian Quinnett (1989), each picked up the first-team honor.
