PULLMAN – Robert Franks collected three separate awards Monday for his efforts in Washington State’s road sweep of the Arizona schools and followed up with a fourth on Tuesday.
Franks was named the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced. He’s just the second Cougar player to win the award after former WSU guard Faisal Aden did so in January of 2012.
Robert Franks of @WSUMensHoops averaged 32.5 ppg while shooting 65 percent from the field to lead the Cougars to a sweep at Arizona and Arizona State.
