PULLMAN – Washington State used accurate three-point shooting in the first half to take control and went on to beat Colorado 83-70 in a Pac-12 women’s basketball game Thursday.
Freshman Borislava Hristova scored 17 points to lead the Cougars (14-14 overall, 5-12 Pac-12), who have won two consecutive games. They snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 62-61 victory at Arizona on Sunday.
WSU made 8 of 14 three-pointers in the first half and 10 of 18 for the game.
“I love seeing 20 assists for our team,” Cougars coach June Daugherty said. “I think that speaks volumes for how our team played this evening.
