PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State volleyball team (12-2 overall, 1-1 Pac-12) held a block party Saturday night in Bohler Gym, tallying 15 team blocks in a 25-19, 25-20, 25-14 win over Utah (7-6, 1-1) before 750 Cougar fans.
Junior Kyra Holt led WSU with 13 kills, hit .379 and added eight digs and two blocks. Freshman McKenna Woodford added 11 kills, hit .320, and had two aces and two blocks. Freshman Taylor Mims had four kills but a match-high and career-high nine blocks with sophomore Casey Schoenlein contributing four kills and a career-high six blocks.
