PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State volleyball (2-1) will host its home-opener this Thursday night at Bohler Gym as a part of its annual three-day Cougar Challenge non-conference tournament. Admission into Bohler Gym for the Cougar Challenge will be free to the public.
This year's Cougar Challenge will feature California Baptist (1-2), Belmont (1-2) and CSU Bakersfield (0-3).
Washington State went 2-1 in its season-opening weekend at the BYU doTERRA Classic with wins over Duke (24-26, 25-14, 25-21, 25-20) and Rider (25-11, 25-9, 25-9). Pia Timmer and Magda Jehlarova were recognized as all-tournament performers for their opening weekend performances last week in Provo.
