PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State women's volleyball has officially hired Cassie (Thompson) Kreiger as an assistant coach as announced by head coach Korey Schroeder Thursday. Kreiger joins the Cougars' coaching staff following a three-year tenure as an assistant coach at Whitman College.
"I am excited to support [Head Coach] Korey (Schroeder)'s vision for the program while continuing to build a tradition of excellence," said Kreiger.
Krieger began her time in Walla Walla as a volunteer assistant coach before being promoted prior to the 2022 season. In her first season as a full-time assistant coach, Whitman posted its highest number of conference wins (8) since 2017.
