PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State volleyball player will compete in the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) World Grand Prix this summer as a member of the Mexican National Team.
Urias, a redshirt sophomore middle blocker from Tijuana, Mexico, was a three-year member of the Mexican Junior National Team and has played for the Baja California Club team. She was named the MVP of the 2015 Copa Federacion (Federation Cup), a qualifying tournament for the Liga Mexicana de Voleibol (LMV).
Urias also played on the Mexican National Team at the 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix, but the team did not advance from preliminary rounds in pool play.
