PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State track and field student athletes, Elise Unruh-Thomas and Lee Walburn were each named WSU Student Athlete of the Month as announced this week.
Unruh-Thomas is a fifth-year graduate student with an undergraduate degree in Psychology that includes a minor in Human Development. She ranks top-10 all-time at WSU in the indoor and outdoor 200-meter dash, as well as both the 60m (indoor only) and 100m (outdoor only), and 300m (indoor only). Her top 60m (7.54), 200m (24.42), and 300m (39.53) times are each second-best in the Cougars' sprints group this winter, and she has helped WSU's 4X400m relay (3:42.
