Two-Time All-American Lundgren Finishes Sixth at NCAA Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (March 22, 2025) – Washington State junior Emily Lundgren capped her record-setting week at the NCAA Swimming Championships earning her second All-America honor in Federal Way, Wash. Saturday afternoon.

Lundgren, who earned All-America Honorable Mention in the 100 Breast Friday, put on a show Saturday, winning her morning prelim with a school-record 2:06.83, the third-fastest time in the morning prelims.

In the evening final, Lundgren posted a 2:06.18 to finish sixth nationally, the best finish by a Cougar in NCAA history after breaking her own school and Mountain West Conference record and became WSU's first All-American since 2000.
