PULLMAN, Wash. – Dominating in the attacking third of the field, the No. 16 ranked Washington State soccer team (6-0-0) defeated the Montana (1-5-2), 3-1, Friday night at Lower Soccer Field. Sophomore started the game off with a back, drilling a sniper shot just 2:01 into the game after shaking free from her defenders 20 yards from goal. Just getting started the Kapolei, Hawaii native struck again in the 34' minute when sent a perfect square ball to the top of the box and Gomer-Stevens again took a touch past a defender and sent it to the upper-90 just out of the keeper's reach.
