SEATTLE, Wash. (November 3, 2024) – The Washington State women's rowing team wrapped up their fall portion of fall competition at the Head of the Lake on Sunday morning at Lake Washington.
The Cougars opened the day with the women's collegiate eight race as the 1V8 raced with some of the top boats in the region. WSU placed fifth in 16:59.82 behind the Washington boats, and just four-tenths of a second behind fourth-place Gonzaga (16:59.42).
Then in the women's collegiate JV 8+, the Cougar 2V8 was the first to cross the finish in 17:17.
