NEW ORLEANS -- Washington State University men's and women's track and field teams, as well as seven student-athletes, received national recognition for their combination of athletic and academic excellence in 2018 among all NCAA Division I institutions by the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Cougar women's track and field team, with a 3.47 cumulative grade point average, was one of eight Pac-12 members, had the second-best GPA in the conference behind Stanford's 3.61, and was one of the 220 DI women's programs to earn the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.
