When Ahmed Ali transferred last month from the Washington State basketball team, it didn’t make things easy on first-year head coach Kyle Smith. While Ali’s departure wasn’t a total surprise—he’d flirted with transferring earlier this year—it came awfully close to the start of the school year and a little late in the recruiting cycle.
Enter Tony Miller, who sat out the past season at Montana after transferring to Missoula from Seattle Pacific. Miller announced yesterday he’ll be joining the WSU basketball team for the upcoming season.
Excited to say I will be playing for Washington State University next season.
