Xavier Cooper, Vince Mayle and Connor Halliday aren't the only WSU players getting a shot in the NFL. Defensive tackle Toni Pole will attend rookie minicamp with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to an Instagram post from WSU football.
NFL teams hold a rookie minicamp following the draft and routinely bring in several players on a tryout basis in addition to the undrafted free agent signings and draft picks. Those that show well can land a contract as an UDFA and possibly a spot on the training camp roster. Cincinnati appears to be a solid opportunity for Pole.
