PULLMAN, Wash. – Former Washington State women’s basketball guard Tia Presley has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Israel beginning this fall.
Presley will play for Maccabi Bnot Ashdod out of Ashdod, Israel in the Ligat Ha’al, the top division of women’s basketball in the country. The team is the defending league champion, having lost just one game during the 2014-15 season. Presley will move to Israel in late September ahead of league competition beginning in late October.
“I’m looking forward to being a part of another great organization,” Presley said. “I can’t wait to represent the Cougs in Israel.
