BRADENTON, Fla. – With over half the field still on the course at the Concession Golf Club, the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships was delayed, Friday, due to thunderstorms. Washington State freshman Alivia Brown will return to the course Saturday morning to complete the final three holes of her first round.
Brown, competing as one of 12 individuals in the national championships, sits at 12-over par through 15 holes. After a slow start, the Gig Harbor, Wash., native found consistency on the second half of the front nine, shooting even with par on five-straight holes.
