HONOLULU (August 17, 2023) – Washington State offensive linemen Fa'alili Fa'amoe, Ma'ake Fifita and Esa Pole were each named to the 2023 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award Watch List, the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced Thursday.
The Award is presented annually to the most outstanding college football player of Polynesian ancestry that epitomizes great ability and integrity. The Watchlist is composed of 85 players from 40 different FBS schools. Fifita was named to the watch list last season and former Cougar defensive lineman Hercules Mata'afa won the award in 2017.
