It was incredibly exciting for this Stanford fan to see his alma mater win a Rose Bowl in person. Could these feelings be replicated by Husky or Cougar fans at next year's Rose Bowl game?
PASADENA, Calif. — Yep, it’s still pretty special.
The Cardinal was in the Rose Bowl for the third time in four years, and I was back on hand Friday for one of my favorite sporting events to watch my favorite team (and alma mater). After watching them fall short two years ago against Michigan State, it was incredibly satisfying to see Stanford roll to a 45-16 win over Iowa before a crowd of 94,268.
