T&F Sees Successful Trip to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – The Washington State University Track and Field program wrapped up the action from the USC Invitational Saturday afternoon from Loker Stadium.

Charisma Taylor continued her dominant streak, picking up where she left off during the indoor season, running a 13.45 in the 100-meter hurdles. That time from Taylor is the second-best all-time in Washington State history as well. Emily Coombs earned the win in the pole vault, posting a mark of 12-feet 11 1/2 inches (3.95m). Multiple Cougars turned in winning performances throughout the day as well including Kaylee Sowle in the high jump, Kendra Sachse in the javelin, and the squad of Jordyn Tucker, Skyler Walton, Jasneet Nijjar, and Elise Unruh-Thomas getting the victory in the 4x100m relay.
