FRESNO, Calif. – The Washington State University Track and Field program was in action at both the West Coast Relays and the Buc Scoring Invite Friday afternoon.
Charisma Taylor continued to dominate this outdoor season as she set the WSU outdoor record in the triple jump with a mark of 44-feet 2 3/4 inches (13.48m). Taylor's jump also set the meet and stadium record at the West Coast Relays as well. Neema Kimtai posted an impressive run in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:20.69. The personal best of Kimtai sets the Washington State outdoor freshman record in the event and ranks her seventh all-time in Cougar history as well.
