Five WSU players made it to at least the Round of 32 in singles tournament play, and freshman Donika Bashota earned a berth in the Round of 16 after pulling off an upset over USC freshman No. 55 Madison Westby.
In doubles championship play, two WSU pairings reached the Round of 16 for the first time since 2011.
The first day of the Pac-12 Championships began in singles play as three WSU players competed. Senior Elizaveta Luzina ended her career in Pac-12 Championship play with a loss to USC senior No. 3 Sabrina Santamaria by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
