In Case You Missed It
PULLMAN, Wash. – A 55' strike from equalized an instant classic as Washington State (10-2-4, 4-1-3) picked up a point in the standings with a 1-1, 2OT, draw against No. 8 UCLA (13-0-3, 5-0-3) Sunday night at Lower Soccer Field. Throughout the night the Cougs and the Bruins battled as each team took control of the run of play for large swaths of time, punching and counter-punching in search of the win. It was the Bruins who would get on the board first in the 15' converting a mishit goal kick into a quick counter finished off by Kennedy Faulknor from long distance.
