Starbucks stores in Seattle and all over the Pacific Northwest have temporarily run out of some lunch items, as the coffee giant deals with a problem at one of its suppliers.
Lunch sandwiches, salads, bistro boxes and yogurt parfaits have been a no show at several stores in the region because “our supplier has experienced a production issue and is not meeting our standards,” spokeswoman Sanja Gould told The Seattle Times. “We’re working with them to understand the issue and to get those foods in stores as soon as possible.”
Gould said the unspecified problem began to affect its stores on Tuesday, but Starbucks has been working to solve the issue since the weekend.
