Six Cougars Named to Pac-12 Volleyball All-Academic Teams

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Washington State volleyball team had six players selected to the 2016 Pac-12 All-Academic teams, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced Thursday.

Junior and sophomore were named to the seven-member Pac-12 All-Academic First Team. Schoenlein, an outside hitter from Bellevue, Wash., was a First Team selection for the second consecutive year. She has a 3.92 cumulative grade point average and is majoring in Journalism and Media Production. Woodford, an outside hitter from Chandler, Ariz., has a 3.83 GPA and is yet to certify in a major area of study.
