Washington State freshman forward Borislava Hristova was selected to the All-Pac-12 and Pac-12 All-Freshman Teams by the Pac-12 media, the league announced Wednesday.
A native of Varna, Bulgaria, Hristova leads the Cougars in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game, second-best in the conference by a freshman.
Hristova already holds the all-time record at Washington State for best career free throw percentage at .897.
Seniors Jillian Alleyne of Oregon and Clarkston product Jamie Weisner of Oregon State are the Pac-12 Players of the Year. The other first-team picks are Kelsey Plum and Talia Walton of Washington, Sydney Wiese of Oregon State,Kristine Anigwe of California; Jordan Canada and Nirra Fields of UCLA, Lili Thompson of Stanford, Ruth Hamblin of Oregon and Sophie Brunner of Arizona State.
