PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men's golfer Max Sekulic is set to play in the 121st U.S. Amateur Championship, which runs from Aug. 9-15 at Oakmont (Pa.) Country Club.
Sekulic, a redshirt senior from Rycroft, Canada, qualified for the 121st U.S. Amateur Championship after finishing first at an U.S. Amateur Qualifier at Palouse Ridge Golf Course in late June. Playing on his home course, Sekulic carded a 66 (-4) in back-to-back rounds, as he finished his 36-hole day with 11 birdies and three bogeys.
The U.S. Amateur Championship begins on Aug. 9 at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
