Good morning! If you can believe it, there’s only one more Saturday after this one without Washington State Cougars football. As I’ve mentioned on our podcast, this always brings about mixed emotions for me, as the beginning of football season also signals the inevitable end of my summer break. Alas.
The Cougs will hold their second scrimmage today at 2 p.m. PT in Martin Stadium following a truncated practice yesterday. Gage Gubrud and Anthony Gordon once again got all the meaningful reps on Friday, further solidifying that this is a two-man race now — despite Mike Leach’s continued insistence that he has three guys in the running.
