SAN DIEGO – The Washington State women's rowing team put forth a solid effort against some of the top teams in the nation on day two of the 50th San Diego Crew Classic at Mission Bay.
It was championship Sunday at the San Diego Crew Classic, as Washington State had its varsity 4+, second varsity 8+, and third varsity 8+ boats compete in an A final, while the first varsity 8+ boat rowed in a B final.
WSU's 2V8+ crew captured the team's highest finish at the San Diego Crew Classic on Sunday, as the Cougars took sixth in the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy race.
