SAN DIEGO – The Washington State women's rowing team opens its 2023 spring season this weekend at one of the nation's top regattas, as the Cougars will be competing in the 50th San Diego Crew Classic. The two-day regatta will take place April 1-2 at Mission Bay in San Diego.
Regatta Format
The collegiate portion of the San Diego Crew Classic will be held April 1-2 at Mission Bay. The heats will take place Saturday to determine a spot in Sunday's finals. The top three crews in the 1V8+ and the 3V8+ races will advance to the A final on Sunday, while the remaining crews from those races will race in the B final.
