SAN DIEGO – The Washington State women's rowing team had a strong start at the 50th San Diego Crew Classic Saturday, April 1, as the Cougars had three of their four boats advance to the A finals in their respective races.
WSU will have a fair amount of representation in the A finals at the San Diego Crew Classic this Sunday, April 2, as Washington State's varsity 4+, second varsity 8+, and third varsity 8+ boats each advanced to the regatta's trophy stage.
The Cougars' varsity 4+ crew was the first to punch their ticket into an A final, as Washington State finished fourth in the second heat of the Karen Plumleigh Cortney Cup race.
