Rodrick Fisher arrested for driving under the influence

A promising young Washington State Cougars freshman receiver is in trouble with the law. Pullman Radio reports Rodrick Fisher was arrested for driving under the influence in Pullman in the wee hours of this morning.

The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest, saying Fisher’s blood-alcohol level was below the .08 limit, but because he’s not 21, any amount above .02 is illegal. The freshman from Spokane was arrested and released at the scene.

Mike Leach and his staff never comment publicly on any punishments for players so we won’t know exactly what punitive measures Fisher is facing from his coaches.
