Washington State defensive coordinator Alex Grinch is much in demand these days.
Brock Huard of 710ESPN reported earlier this week that Grinch has entertained overtures from Texas A&M and Arkansas, and on Friday morning, Football Scoop reported that Grinch is now a candidate for a position on Urban Meyer’s staff at Ohio State.
Grinch is not being considered for the defensive coordinator position in Columbus — a job currently held by Greg Schiano (you know, the guy Tennessee hired, then un-hired before the Vols reportedly came after Mike Leach?) Instead, Football Scoop reports that Grinch is being considered for the 10th assistant coaching job that all programs will be allowed to add beginning Jan.
