The top quarterback in the country received a visit from Mike Leach today.
Mike Leach wasted no time hitting the recruiting trail today, visiting Lake Stevens quarterback Jacob Eason, a five-star prospect currently committed to Georgia, according to a report from the Seattle Times.
Eason, widely regarded as the top quarterback prospect in the 2016 recruiting class, committed to the Bulldogs last summer, but with Georgia parting ways with Mark Richt today, his commitment is reportedly in a "holding pattern," Lake Stevens head coach Tom Tri tells the Seattle Times.
The Cougars were the first program to offer Eason in February of last year, however they did not make the final cut for the top-rated prospect, who instead focused on Alabama, Stanford, Michigan, Washington and others before opting for Georgia.
