Report: Former Cougars QB Connor Halliday 'done with football'

Former Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday is reportedly "done with football." That's what he's quoted as telling 700 ESPN, a radio station in his home town of Spokane.

Halliday signed with the Redskins earlier this month after going undrafted. Earlier Friday, this story from ESPN.com's John Keim noted that Halliday is no longer on Washington's roster, that he isn't attending the team's rookie minicamp this weekend and that, per a source, he has "sort of" retired.
