CORVALLIS, Ore. (Oct. 7, 2024) – Junior Sam Renner fired back-to-back rounds of 4-under par, 67, to lead Washington State during the first day of play at the Oregon State Invitational Monday at the par-71, 7,384-yard Trysting Tree Golf Club.
Through the first 36 holes, the Cougars are in sixth place a 4-over, 572. After starting the day at 4-over in the first round, WSU bounced back and shot an even-par, 284, in the afternoon. Host Oregon State leads the field at 10-under, followed by UC Irvine and Kansas City, both at -5.
