In Case You Missed It ...
PULLMAN, Wash. – A five minute stretch early and a historic day out of California's Kristine Anigwe proved too much for Washington State (9-20, 4-14) to overcome Sunday in the regular season finale at Beasley Coliseum as the Golden Bears (18-11, 9-9) closed out the Cougs, 80-58. A see-saw first quarter quickly went sour for the Cougars in the afternoon matinee as Cal used a 15-3 run in the final five minutes of the period to break open the game early and put WSU in a hole it would not recover from.
