The Washington State Cougars picked up a commitment for their 2020 class at a position of need when cornerback Justin Anderson announced via Twitter on Sunday that he intends to come to Pullman next season.
Anderson is from Menlo Park, California, and is rated as a mid-three-star recruit by 247sports.com’s composite metric. According to 247, he’s 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds; notably, he held offers from both the Utah Utes and Iowa St. Cyclones, which is about as good of an endorsement of his potential as you can get.
“(Co-defensive coordinator Darcel McBath’s) biggest message to me was just talking about how I can be a playmaker for them,” Anderson said.
