The Washington State Cougars lost their first committed recruit of the 2020 cycle when three-star wide receiver Christian Fitzpatrick announced via Twitter that he was re-opening his recruitment.
I have contacted the coaches at Washington State University and let them know that I have reopened my recruitment. I want to thank coach Spurrier and Coach Leach for their belief in my ability. I wont be doing any interviews, focused on making the right decision. #GoCougs

Fitzpatrick had been the second-highest rated recruit in the 2020 class, ranking only behind QB Jayden de Laura, so losing the 6-foot-4/210-pound receiver is a big blow.
