Seattle police are looking for the man who grabbed a 15-year-old from behind, tried to cover her mouth and began pulling her toward a parked SUV.
The incident occurred Wednesday as the girl walked along 14th Avenue Southwest near Southwest Cambridge Street at 11:15 p.m., police said Saturday. She screamed, alerting two people who stopped to help, and the man fled in the SUV.
Police said the blue SUV is possibly a newer-model Jeep, with a license-plate number that begins with “A.” The man is described as in his 40s, 5-foot-11. He was wearing bluejeans and a blue shirt, according to police.
